Josh Altman, star of Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles,” has set his sights on affordable housing in Beverly Hills.
Altman, who is known for selling multi-million dollar properties in the exclusive neighborhoods of Los Angeles, has decided to make a change by working to provide affordable housing options in Beverly Hills.
“It’s something I’m passionate about because it’s a real issue we all face, the lack of affordable housing,” Altman said. “There’s a way people can live in Beverly Hills that they can actually afford.”
Altman has teamed up with developer Danny Nasjari to create a new project called Altman Nasjari, which aims to build smaller, more affordable homes in Beverly Hills. The homes will be priced between $700,000 and $2 million, compared to the multi-million dollar price tags that are common in the area.
“We believe that there are a lot of people that want to live in Beverly Hills, but they just can’t afford it,” Nasjari said. “We’re trying to bring new life to the community by offering more affordable options.”
Altman and Nasjari have already broken ground on their first project, a 13-unit building located on Charleville Boulevard in Beverly Hills. The building will offer two-bedroom units priced at around $1 million, making it one of the more affordable options in the neighborhood.
Altman hopes that this project will set a precedent for other developers in the area to consider creating more affordable housing options in Beverly Hills.
“We’re setting an example that we can build high-quality homes at reasonable prices,” Altman said. “We want to show that it’s possible to make a profit while also making a positive impact on the community.”
With Altman’s expertise in real estate and Nasjari’s background in development, the duo is confident that they can bring about positive change in Beverly Hills and provide more housing options for those looking to live in the exclusive neighborhood.
