San Diego County’s first marijuana consumption lounge set to open in fall
SAN DIEGO COUNTY, Calif. — The first marijuana consumption lounge in San Diego County is set to open this fall.
Torrey Holistics, a cannabis dispensary in Sorrento Valley, will be opening the lounge where customers can purchase marijuana products and consume them on-site. The lounge will include an outdoor patio, a smoking area and a space for food trucks.
This move comes after the City of San Diego approved regulations for marijuana lounges last year. The lounge will provide a safe and legal place for adults to consume marijuana in a social setting.
The owner of Torrey Holistics, Tony Hall, said that they are excited to offer a new experience for their customers.
“We know that there is a demand for a social consumption experience in San Diego and we are thrilled to be able to provide that for our customers,” Hall said.
The lounge is expected to open in September and will be available to adults over the age of 21. Customers will be able to bring their own marijuana products or purchase them on-site.
