Kurt Kuniyoshi, 60, Grateful Crane Performer
Kurt Kuniyoshi, 60, has been performing with the Grateful Crane Ensemble for over 20 years, bringing joy and entertainment to audiences of all ages. Originally from Los Angeles, Kuniyoshi discovered his love for music and theater at a young age and has been pursuing his passion ever since.
As a member of the Grateful Crane Ensemble, Kuniyoshi has been able to combine his love of performing with his Japanese American heritage. The ensemble performs a variety of traditional Japanese folk songs, as well as original pieces that celebrate the richness of Japanese culture.
Kuniyoshi credits the ensemble with helping him connect with his roots and develop a deeper appreciation for his heritage. He believes that the ensemble plays an important role in preserving and sharing Japanese American culture with audiences around the world.
Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Kuniyoshi remains optimistic about the future of the Grateful Crane Ensemble. He is looking forward to returning to the stage and continuing to spread joy through music and performance.
Kuniyoshi is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the ensemble and is excited to see what the future holds for him and his fellow performers.
