A Las Vegas: Neon Cutrone, a 12-year-old boy from Las Vegas, has a rare skin condition that prevents him from closing his eyes. The boy suffers from a very rare disease called lamellar ichthyosis, which affects the skin and causes it to become extremely dry and scaly. Neon has to undergo daily treatments that include soaking in a tub for hours and applying special ointments to his skin.
According to Neon’s mother, the condition causes him a lot of pain and discomfort. The boy cannot go outside during hot weather and has to wear special goggles to protect his eyes. Despite his condition, Neon remains a happy and active child who enjoys playing video games and spending time with his family.
Neon’s family is raising awareness about his condition in the hope of finding a cure. They have set up a GoFundMe page to help cover the costs of his medical treatment. The family also hopes to connect with other families who are dealing with similar skin conditions.
Neon’s mother is determined to find a treatment that will allow her son to live a normal life. She says, “It hurts to see him go through it, but we are doing everything we can to help him.” Neon is a brave and resilient boy who is facing his condition with courage and determination.
